The Excalibur 9 Tray 26h analog dehydrator is very easy to operate and good quality. Dried fruit & vegetables with this dehydrator are high quality!

The service by Cheryl at Natural wise and that of the courier was amazing.  I ordered and paid late on a Thursday afternoon and the next morning the Excalibur was delivered. Kudus to them both.
I do however feel that the product is overpriced and does quite deliver on the hype.
It looks nice and neat in black.  The mechanics and composition is very basic and does not warrant the price tag. R2000 or so yes, R7500 definitely not.  
I experienced several challenges.
If you do not regularly rotate the sheets, drying is not even. On moist goods not even then e.g. tomatoes.
The holes in the sheets are too big and things like corn fall through when they are dry leading to wastage.
It isn't easy getting the bottom clean as things get trapped by the lip in front.
The power consumption is also higher than expected for the volume of food produced.  
Everything is plastic where I was expecting something more durable.
Perhaps someone can give me tips to get more value out of this product.
Overall this product was somewhat of a disappointment.  From manufacture to use.
