The Excalibur 8 Tray Select Digital Dehydrator is a gardener, homesteader, and gourmet cooks dream!! I moved to several acres three years ago and started a large garden. I didn’t realize how easy it would be to grow in excess. Finding ways to use and store the excess is a necessity. Pepper are the first thing I made in excess, and they are so easy to use dehydrated. Excalibur is so easy to use! Dehydrated peppers are great in stir fry and chilis and so many other foods. Then, my husband, who loves to make cocktails, asked about dehydrating citrus for his cocktails. Everything with this dehydrator is just a simple push of a button. I can’t recommend it more for it’s simplicity. It’s so amazing. It’s the gardening companion I didn’t know I was missing!

I’ve used it 3 times at this point. It worked well and is easy to clean. Eight racks will do about 1.5kg of apples.
